Arcane, the hit Netflix series set in the League of Legends universe, now has a release window for its second season. Announced as part of Netflix's Geeked Week, the next installment of the animated program is scheduled to hit the streaming service in November 2024.
The announcement was accompanied by a short teaser trailer, which features Jinx walking away from the camera through a magenta haze before crossing a large bridge. Though Netflix has yet to reveal any Season 2 plot points, it has confirmed that Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Ella Purnell (Jinx) and Katie Leung (Caityln) are all returning to voice their respective characters. Additionally, the series will continue to be produced by League of Legends creator Riot Games and animation studio Fortiche Production.

Released November 2021, Arcane quickly made history by becoming the first streaming show to take home an Emmy for Best Animated Program. The series' first season follows the origin story of League champions Vi and Jinx--two sisters who are both divided and brought back together by the violent world they inhabit.
In other League of Legends news, the MOBA now has its own boy band called Heartsteel. The group is made up of League of Legends characters Ezreal, Kayn, Aphelios, Yone, K'Sante, and Sett, and features the singing talents of real-life international artists.
