Amazon is selling Google's Pixel 6a handset in charcoal(Opens in a new window), bundled with a $50 voucher, for $449—$50 off the $499 retail price.
Google's latest midrange smartphone, the Pixel 6a earned a PCMag Editors' Choice stamp of approval, thanks to its solid performance, incredible battery life, and standout design. Powered by the manufacturer's own Tensor processor, the phone comes with 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4,410mAh battery that lasts an estimated 29 hours.
What the 6-inch handset lacks in a microSD slot and 3.5mm headphone jack, it more than makes up for with a vivid OLED display and solid cameras. A punch-hole selfie shooter sits atop the front display, behind a slab of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while a 12.2MP dual-pixel rear camera and ultra-wide sensor are housed in a unique horizontal bar on the back.
Users can count on an IP67 rating, making the device fully dust-resistant and able to withstand temporary submersion in water at depths of up to 3.3 feet for 30 minutes. Instead of a face-unlock option, the phone comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a pair of speakers and a USB-C port along the bottom edge.
Apple fans will likely want to consider the comparable iPhone SE, but Android users need not look any further than the Google Pixel 6a—on sale now in charcoal from Amazon for $449(Opens in a new window) with a free $50 gift card.
