Marvel’s Spider-Man has received many iconic suits over the years, but there are still plenty of costumes that fans want to see added. One such costume is from the beloved Spider-Man game on PS1, and a Marvel’s Spider-Man fan has edited it into the game.
Simply titled Spider-Man, Neversoft’s take on the wallcrawler released in 2000 and still has many fans over two decades later. With a developer recently revealing that they want to remaster Spider-Man PS1, the game is still being talked about for its strong story, solid gameplay, and a good voice cast. As a result, many gamers have wanted to see the PS1 Spider-Man suit added to Insomniac’s hit series.

With so many requests for a Spider-Man PS1 suit, @official_bigj took it upon themselves to photoshop the costume into the game. They shared several photos, including a shot of the suit from the back and an image of the outfit in the game’s costume selection menu. One standout edit showed the PS1 suit in one of the game’s loading screens, which is a common way for Insomniac to hype up new suit arrivals. The Redditor even added an “inspired bySpider-Man” logo into the bottom right corner, further mirroring Insomniac’s costume announcements.
Another great image shows the suit added into a cutscene, specifically the one where Peter and MJ meet up inside her apartment. Mary Jane can be seen looking in the direction of PS1 Peter as he rests his foot on the windowsill, clearly planning to leap out the window and swing toward danger.
