While the main My Hero Academia series is often dealing with big threats like organized crime or the supervillainy of All for One, there are a lot of heroes who deal with smaller crimes that are rarely shown. Spinoff series Team Up Missions is offering a look at what these small-time crooks are up to, and it seems like they're taking a page right out of Scooby Doo.
The second volume of Team Up Missions was recently released in English, offering one-off stories where unusual combinations of characters are put together to deal with some mission. Characters from both Class 1-A and 1-B of U.A. have been featured, as well as those from other schools seen in the series, like U.A.'s primary rival Shiketsu. Although most of these missions are intended simply for training, it's not uncommon for the students to wind up dealing with some real villains along the way. In both chapters 5 and 9, these villains are taking part in a real estate scheme.

Chapter 5 features Denki Kaminari and Shoto Todoroki alongside Shiketsu's Inasa Yoarashi and Seiji Shishikura, users of the infamously gross meatball quirk, who are all supposed to meet up and train with a pro hero named Gantetsu. They arrive and find the supposed hero agency looks like a ramen shop and assume it's all some type of Karate Kid-style training. While they're cooking, a man shows up to try to intimidate Gantetsu into selling the property, accompanied by two hired villains in costumes. Chapter 9 once again features Todoroki, this time alongside Eijiro Kirishima and Katsuki Bakugo as well as Shiketsu's Camie Utsushimi.
