It's been a strong couple of months for Warner Bros and Player First Games as the brawler MultiVersus continues to prove popular with players. Following a successful open beta period, MultiVersus has been consistently breaking records with its most recent milestone reaching over 20 million players. With consistent updates, seasonal content, and a highly communicative development team, it seems likely that this popularity will continue.
The other part of this success can be attributed to the large roster of characters that Player First Games has access to thanks to the huge variety of franchises and IPs of Warner Bros. Already, MultiVersus has an eclectic roster ranging from Arya Stark of Game of Thrones, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, and a plethora of superheroes including Wonder Woman and Batman. Naturally, fans all have their favorites and are pretty outspoken on who else should be joining the game in a future update.

Even with more characters on the way like Black Adam, Player First Games enables players to essentially try before they buy, rotating the available free characters every so often. The current preview rotation, which began on August 30 includes the DC villain Harley Quinn, Bugs Bunny fromLooney Tunes, and both Velma and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo. Players can play, level them up until September 13, when a new set of characters will be swapped in. Thankfully, the progression will be retained, even if the character becomes locked again.
Once the characters are rotated out, players will have two different ways to unlock them. While Founder's Pack purchasers have character unlock tickets they can use, everyone else can use coins or Gleamium.
