Warner Bros. Interactivehas consistently demonstrated its willingness to create an interesting roster for players to choose from throughout the MultiVersus open beta and the launch of Season 1. With the announcement of Black Adam and Stripe alongside Rick Sanchez coming this season, the crossover fighting game is continuing to attract players from around the world with its new additions and interesting mechanics.
MultiVersus is largely successful because WB maintains the rights to many beloved personalities, with one such franchise being DC Comics. At the moment, the game already has several characters from DC, including Batman, Harley Quinn, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Datamined information has also revealed that members of the Teen Titans are on their way, namely Robin and Raven. Other leaks are expecting The Joker, Nubia (a variant of Wonder Woman), Static Shock, and Poison Ivy. However, Warner Bros. Interactive has the opportunity to expand its universe further by implementing a Batman from the year 2040, more specifically Batman Beyond's Terry McGinnis.
MultiVersus Should Draw from More Classic Warner Bros. Movies Like Gremlins
The most well-known version of the Batman is Bruce Wayne's version, but there could be a good deal of potential if the developers chose to include his protege, Terry McGinnis. Since Batman Beyond may not be receiving a live-action film anytime soon, now is the perfect time for the franchise to make its way to MultiVersus. Terry would fit well in the Assassin or Bruiser class, though the former would be more interesting to see because Bruce's version of Batman is already a Bruiser, and Terry's skill set, while similar to his mentor, would function best as a fast-attacking damage dealer.
