While there was no official E3 this year, many publishers still came out with big showcases in June. However, that doesn’t mean everything will be quiet until the releases kick in this fall, with Ubisoft gearing up for its Skull and Bones showcase on the 7th.
However, Thursday’s Skull and Bones event isn’t the only thing on the publisher’s schedule for 2022. In a recent blog post, Ubisoft confirmed that it has another Ubisoft Forward covering multiple games planned for September 10th.
Ubisoft Shutting Down Several Online Services For Older Games
The stream will go live on YouTube, Twitch, and Ubisoft's official website on September 10th at 12:00 PM Pacific / 9:00 PM Eastern. However, despite setting a specific date and time, Ubisoft didn’t go into much detail about what fans might see at the event. According to the announcement, this fall’s Ubisoft Connect will cover multiple games, though it is unclear if Ubisoft is making any new announcements. Ubisoft’s blog post promises “updates and news on multiple games and projects” but doesn’t contain any clues about what games or franchises might be featured. However, it indicated that the publisher will offer more information as September approaches.
Ubisoft is a large company with multiple studios worldwide, so it has several games currently in development. While it’s impossible to say which of them might show up in September, there is no shortage of candidates. For example, Ubisoft plans to releaseMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope in October. Meanwhile, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland, the wacky dodgeball game OddBallers, and the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake all don't have release dates.
