Co-op home removals sequel Moving Out 2 has been handed a move date on 15th August, the game coming out across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
A demo will be available during Steam Next Fest, starting on Monday 19th June.
Moving Out 2 picks up right where the first game left off with its intergalactic conclusion. The Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians (F.A.R.Ts) have done plenty of home moves on Earth, but they’re now heading out into the multiverse to do the same job within some wildly different and puzzling environments.
As with the original, Moving Out 2 can be played solo, but is by far and away a better experience when you grab some friends and play in co-op. Both couch co-op and online multiplayer are available here with cross-play baked into the game as well.
This entry also features comprehensive assists once again, so it can accommodate players and groups of all ages and gaming ability.
A demo will be available for PC from Monday 19th June as part of the latest Steam Next Fest. This will feature six levels from the full game, giving a good taste of what it has to offer.
Looking back on the first game, Ade was full of praise of this Overcooked-alike. In our 9/10 Moving Out review he said, “Moving Out performs a seemingly impossible balancing act. It’s both a challenging couch co-op physics puzzler, and yet it’s completely accessible to everyone sat on that couch, regardless of their video game experience. Moving Out is fun, it’s frivolous, it’s joyful and it will have you laughing from beginning to end. Who could ask for more?”
