Motorola is planning to follow up on its premium mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge (2021) with a new model later this year and it is bringing some interesting new features. Motorola announced the Edge+ (2022), a few months ago as its first flagship of 2022. The $1,000 phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip is also Motorola's first phone with a smart stylus which has features similar to Samsung's S Pen, making it a viable alternative to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Adding support for a smart stylus is not the only interesting thing Motorola has planned. After being absent for close to two years from the foldable smartphone segment, it is set to bring a new model that is expected to launch as the Razr 3. The new clamshell foldable will have a new design and be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The Motorola Edge (2022) on the other hand will sport a new design, one that closely resembles recent Motorola smartphones launched in 2022. As shown in images posted by Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks) via 91mobiles, the phone will keep the centered punch-hole display design of its predecessor. And while it will still have triple rear cameras, they no longer protrude as much and are now housed in a rounded rectangular module alongside a pill-shaped LED flash. Just like the 2021 model, this one also skips the audio jack. Alongside renders of the phone, the source also disclosed its specifications.
