Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will likely begin its main marketing push after the release of Thor: Love and Thunder, but some merchandising leaks have offered first looks at some of the aspects of the film, from Namor and Atlantis to Wakanda itself. It was rumored since the beginning of production on Black Panther 2 that the sequel would introduce the character of Namor to the MCU. Now, with these merch leaks, the Sub-Mariner's inclusion in the film is all but confirmed.
Namor's presence, in turn, means that the film will also introduce another major fictional city of the Marvel universe, the underwater city of Atlantis. Given that Wakanda is a fictional country itself, and the sequel will apparently focus on the country as a whole, it makes sense for Marvel Studios to pair that with Atlantis and Namor in the MCU. One thing that will be interesting to see, however, is how Marvel will tackle the portrayal of Atlantis, given the significant popularity of Aquaman and the similarities to the DC property.

Early reports have indicated that Marvel will differentiate their own version of Atlantis by steeping the city in Central American culture. This provides evidence to the reports that Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta will be playing the role of Namor in Black Panther 2. All of this seems to have been all but confirmed by the leaked merchandise for the upcoming film, which provided first looks at Namor's design, as well as some new looks for both Atlanteans and the film's Wakandan characters.
