Marvel fans were able to see many variants of Loki in his self-titled Disney + series, but now one of his funniest variants is intervening in his life within the comics. Alligator Loki #8 features the titular variant taking a «Spa Day» with some of Marvel's most powerful magic users. However, his role in this day is one that Loki will ultimately end up hating him for.
Loki is best known for his mischief and villainy. He has incredible magical abilities that allow him to shapeshift, teleport, hypnotize foes, cast illusions, and astral project himself — among other things. He is a skilled villain who has teamed up with some powerful — and mystical — Marvel characters, including Dormammu, Doctor Strange, and Scarlet Witch. However, he hardly ever finds himself being truly accepted or trusted by anyone.

Alligator Loki #8 has the creative team of Alyssa Wong, Bob Quinn, and Pete Pantazis. Alligator Loki is spending a relaxing day with Hela, Scarlet Witch, Magik, Clea, and Polaris. From masks to manicures these heroines are giving this variant the royal treatment, but when the original humanoid Loki shows up he is not nearly as welcome. He struts in via a portal and is immediately met with threatening stances and a wordless warning that tells him he isn't wanted around. This leads Loki to glare at his much more adorable variant as he exits.
Alligator Loki is proving to be one of the most accepted characters since his recent comic debut. Marvel's young heroes have broken him out of jail and now even Loki's own daughter Hela has chosen this variant over him.
