The last week saw Meta shine a spotlight on the library of upcoming games Meta Quest 2 owners have to look forward to over the coming months, capitalizing on the hardware's strong, ongoing sales. Among the games shown off during the April 20 showcase, Meta and developer Polyarc gave a new look at Moss: Book 2 on the Quest 2. The new trailer highlights the combination of combat and puzzle-platforming from the game, along with a release window for the Quest 2.
Moss: Book 2 continues the journey of the young, brave mouse Quill after her defeat of the serpent Sarffog in the first game. Quill now finds herself hunted by a merciless group known as the Arcane seeking to rip the powerful glass she holds to secure their rule over Quill's home. Players are once again tasked with aiding the mouse in her battle, guiding her leaps and sword in an effort to extinguish this new evil once and for all.
Bonelab Revealed for VR Platforms
As mentioned above, the newest trailer for Moss: Book 2 released as part of the 2022 Meta Quest Gaming Showcase alongside games like Ghostbusters VR andAmong Us VR. The trailer offered a short glimpse at the combat and some of the enemies the young mouse will cross blades with during her adventure. The trailer then closes with promotional art showcasing a few characters Quill will meet along the way and, more importantly, confirmation the game is dropping during Summer 2022, though no exact date was set.
Players shouldn't be surprised to see the game already coming out on the Quest 2, potentially shortening the gap between the PSVR release and Quest release. The number of Quest 2 owners continues to grow, with Meta posting over 8.7 million units sold in 2021 and is reportedly sitting around 10 million units
