Persona Fans Aren't Happy About Latest Anniversary Announcement
As Persona rolls on with its 25th anniversary celebrations, the massively popular RPG franchise has seen plenty of minor announcements for a wide variety of upcoming projects. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius announced earlier this week that the mobile game would be collaborating with Persona 5, while the franchise has seen everything from new figures, soundtracks arriving on streaming platforms, and even Persona mouthwash revealed in recent months. However, developer Atlus has been noticeably silent on the future of the main attraction between the series, the video games.
With the massive success of Persona 5 following its 2017 release, Atlus has since launched plenty of spinoff titles to capitalize on the widespread acclaim of the Phantom Thieves. From Koei Tecmo's Warriors-style Persona 5 Strikers to the rhythm game spinoff Persona 5 Dancing Star Night, Atlus has given fans plenty of new experiences starring Persona 5's cast. However, as Persona fans continue to push for both ports of Persona 5 to other platforms and information on Persona 6, Atlus recently announced the next step in the anniversary celebration, and it's not what many fans have hoped for.

Atlus announced its next anniversary event on Thursday with the annual «Persona Super Live» concert confirmed to be held as a two-day event in October this year. The newest entry in the «Persona Super Live» series will likely follow in the trend of past performances with a suite of live performances of iconic tracks from the franchise with this year's concert being the first in the series since 2019.
