Ben, who fans thought was being catfished due to the nature of Mahogany’s photos with filters on Instagram, was soon seen as desperate. Even after knowing that she was the same age as his eldest daughter, Ben wanted to get married to Mahogany and pursued the law student endlessly. One of the most repulsive scenes in Ben and Mahogany’s storyline was when he kissed her.

Just like Ben, Mahogany too was criticized for not being truthful about her appearance or her age. She even lied to Ben about where she stayed in Peru.
