Felled by Lindsay Dolashewich's luck of the draw on the Do or Die twist and Omar Zaheer's endlessly crafty strategic maneuvering, Drea Wheeler found herself out of plays in episode 11 of Survivor. Drea, it appeared, had a clear path to the end, if only she could empty her fat advantage wallet effectively. Instead, Drea shared her Knowledge Is Power secret with Omar, who instantly used that information against her, borrowing Mike Turner's immunity idol and leaving Drea alone and empty-handed.
Drea had been a target for several weeks, since Jonathan Young decided she was the biggest threat a couple episodes ago. His insistence on getting rid of Drea this episode felt at least partially motivated by the Tribal Council in which Drea spoke out about her position in the game as a Black woman. After Jonathan won immunity — and with Lindsay not on the chopping block because her fate was left to chance — Drea was the obvious boot.

Had she not told anyone about the Knowledge Is Power, Drea would be safe for another round. She could have even feigned as if she were going to play the idol, convinced enough of her tribemates to vote Mike, and entered the final six with an immunity idol, an extra vote and a steal a vote she shared with Lindsay. Instead, Lindsay lives to see another day with a new hidden immunity idol and Drea will be rethinking her decision to confide in the wily veterinarian for the rest of her life.
