Though no official statement has been made by NetherRealm, speculation has run rampant for fans waiting for news on a future Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon name-dropped both Mortal Kombat and Injustice during an interview with Game Informer earlier this year while holding off on official confirmation. Insider reports have also heavily implied NetherRealm's next project will be Mortal Kombat, citing potential licensing issues with Injustice's cast of DC characters. Now, a tweet from Johnny Cage's voice actor Andrew Bowen may have just teased Mortal Kombat 12 on Twitter.
