YouTube streamers and content creators play a lot of games, and Dr Disrespect is no different in that regard. It's perhaps no surprise then that Dr Disrespect often has ideas for how certain games can be improved, or features he'd like to see transplanted from one game to another. One recent example came during Dr Disrespect's YouTube commentary on Escape From Tarkov Arena, which focuses on battle arena gameplay. Dr Disrespect had a thought about how a Mortal Kombat mechanic could be useful in Tarkov Arena, as well as other multiplayer games.
What led to Dr Disrespect's thought was a sudden frustration with how many multiplayer games handle victory scenarios. He mentions PUBG: Battlegrounds flashing «Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner» for victories, as well as Fortnite's "#1 Victory Royale." Both, Dr Disrespect insinuates, are underwhelming and disappointing prompts to receive after securing a victory. Instead, Dr Disrespect thinks that multiplayer games should take influence from Mortal Kombat's Fatality system.

Fatalities, as most game players are aware, are a post-match bit of gameplay allowing the victor to perform a free attack on their opponent. They can execute a special Fatality move, a standard attack, or do nothing at all, depending on what suits their fancy. Later Mortal Kombat games have added different finishing moves like Friendships, Babalities, Animalities, and more. It was a fun way of letting the winner celebrate their victory.
Obviously, a literal Fatality in Fortnite,PUBG: Battlegrounds, or Escape From Tarkov Arena wouldn't mesh so well with what those games are trying to do. But Dr Disrespect's thought does have some value. Multiplayer games could do
