John Wick and Bullet Train director David Leitch reveals new plot details for his upcoming action flick with Ryan Gosling titled The Fall Guy. The Hollywood stuntman-turned-filmmaker made his uncredited directorial debut in 2014 with John Wick, working alongside Chad Stahelski. Since then, Leitch has churned out hit after hit, helming Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. His latest project is another high-octane assassin thriller, Bullet Train, which features a star-studded cast led by Brad Pitt and premieres in theaters this Friday on August 5.
Gosling is fresh off headlining Netflix's espionage thriller, The Gray Man, from Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo, and the actor is already committed to another action flick. Written by Hobbs & Shaw's Drew Pearce and directed by Leitch, The Fall Guy is based on the ABC television series of the same name which aired from 1981-1986 and starred Lee Majors, Douglas Barr, and Heather Thomas as Hollywood stunt performers who moonlight as bounty hunters. So far, Gosling is the only confirmed member of the Fall Guy film cast.
