Warning! Spoilers for Moon Knight #7 ahead!
Ironically Moon Knight’s new villain, the obsessiveZodiac, seems to be on the same wavelength as many of the character’s fans. The latest issue of Moon Knight seems to suggest that Zodiac is hellbent on transforming the hero, trying to return him to his more violent brand of justice.
The ongoing Moon Knight seriesfinds Marc Spector trying to change tack slightly in the aftermath of the «Age of Khonshu»arc in Jason Aarons's current Avengers run, which saw the hero single-handedly wage war on Earth’s mightiest heroes. Now out from under the thumb of his patron, the Egyptian God Khonshu, Moon Knight has set up the “Midnight Mission,” a pseudo-religious clinic dedicated to protecting all those who travel at night. So far, Moon Knight has battled vampires and other monsters while receiving Avengers-mandated therapy. Moon Knight has also gone up against rival Fist of Khonshu, Hunter’s Moon, and reunited with his one-time girlfriend Tigra. Recently Moon Knight has discovered that attacks on himself and the community have been orchestrated by the previously unheard of villain Zodiac, who has been masquerading as one of Marc’s friends and allies Terry.

Moon Knight #7, by Jed MacKay and Federico Sabbatini, Moon Knight attempts to hunt down Zodiac but comes up against a series of dead ends. The issue ends with Moon Knight’s therapist returning home to find Zodiac waiting for her. Zodiac admits that all of his current actions, sending monsters and murderers against Marc’s community, destroying the Midnight Mission, have been him staging an “intervention.” He tells her that he wants the pair of them to discuss “How we’re
