Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is right around the corner, releasing in just over a month's time, and it looks set to be one of the most exciting DLCs of the year. Along with a massive new environment, filled with a variety of biomes, new skills, new weapons, and new missions, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is also bringing a plethora of new monsters to the game. While the upcoming roster features both new and returning goliaths like Seregios, the heavily-marketed Three Lords are by far some of the most anticipated monsters coming with the expansion.
These Three Lords consist of the Frankenstein's Monster-inspired Garangolm, the werewolf-inspired Lunagaron, and the flagship monster of the Sunbreak expansion, Malzeno, heavily inspired by European depictions of vampires. Though not all of their movesets have been detailed just yet, more information is being released every week, and the more fans get to see of these Three Lords, the more they're looking forward to facing off against the behemoths. But taking on these beasts won't be an easy feat, especially with abilities like Malzeno's Bloodblight attack.

Being heavily inspired by the Western vampire mythos, Malzeno's attacks seem to be all based around typical vampiric powers. Malzeno's Bloodblight attack, in particular, takes this vampire inspiration and wears it proudly on its scaly sleeve. During the heat of battle, players might notice red light emanating from the dragon, which indicates that Malzeno's about to use Bloodblight.
