Following the success of Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, a brand-new expansion that continues where the story of the original release left off. Players will brave new locales, monsters, quests, and utilize new Switch Skills across 14 different weapon types. After many trials, the terrifying Elder Dragon Malzeno awaits as the new flagship monster in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. To access this new expansion, completion of the 7-star hub quest «Serpent Goddess of Thunder» is required.

Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be present at the Capcom Showcase on June 13. These details likely pertain to quests, monsters, gear, and other elements found throughout Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
