Nintendo has announced that its next Nintendo Direct will take place this week.
The presentation will take place on Tuesday, June 28 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST.
The show will focus mainly on third-party titles, rather than the games Nintendo currently has in development.
“A new Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase is on the way,” Nintendo tweeted. “Watch on-demand via our YouTube channel beginning Tuesday, June 28 at 6am PT for roughly 25 minutes of info on upcoming third-party Nintendo Switch games.”
The latest Nintendo Direct had been expected to take place on June 29, rather than June 28.
Earlier this month, Sony Santa Monica writer and former games journalist Alanah Pearce stated that the next Direct would take place on the 29th.
One game that almost certainly won’t be featured during the presentation is Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which got its own bespoke Direct last week.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct showed off 20 minutes of gameplay and revealed that the game would get a $30 expansion pass with new story content.
The last general Nintendo Direct was held in February 2022 and focused on games due for release in the first half of the year.
During that presentation, Nintendo revealed Mario Strikers: Battle League, Nintendo Switch Sports, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
It also revealed the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which promised that 48 tracks would be released in eight waves over course of the following two years.
Four months since the announcement, only one of these waves has been released, suggesting the second is imminent.
