During an interview with Esquire, Kutcher revealed that his former co-star and now-wife insisted that the two take on the roles in That '90s Show. Kutcher recalled, “[She] goes, ‘You know, we owe our entire careers to this show. It doesn’t matter what the script is, we’re doing it.’” Kunis previously talked about returning to the franchise, calling 'bs' on Jackie and Kelso ending up together (the two were apart at the end of the original) and recalling feeling nervous being back on set. She stated that the experience might just have been one of the most difficult of her career. The actress has grown a lot since That '70s Show ended, so it was interesting being back on a recreated set and trying to get back into character.
