Metal Lords counted on the presence of a couple of real-life rockstars in special cameo roles, and here’s every one of them. Perhaps one of the most appealing things about streaming services is that most of them offer original content in addition to licensed one, and Netflix’s originals have gained a lot of force thanks to their quality and variety. Among the most recent additions to the streaming giant’s list of original movies is Metal Lords, a comedy movie written by D.B. Weiss and directed by Peter Sollett.
Metal Lords follows Kevin Schlieb (Jaeden Martell) and his best friend Hunter Sylvester (Adrian Greensmith), who have a metal band called “Skullf**ker” – but only Hunter is a passionate metal fan. Kevin and Hunter decide to enter their school’s Battle of the Bands but they need a bassist, and they find an unconventional answer to their problem: Emily (Isis Hainsworth), a cellist who has only played classical music. In order to win the Battle of the Bands, Kevin, Hunter, and Emily will have to work together, but their different personalities and some personal struggles will get in the way.

In order to get into the true spirit of metal, Hunter gives Kevin a list of songs to listen to (which he later gives to Emily) and so he learns what being metal is truly about, so much so that he counts on the spiritual help of some big names in the heavy metal industry – and here’s every one of them.
