Mena Massoud further fueled speculation that he is set to portray Star Wars: Rebels character Ezra Bridger by sharing a piece of fan art on Instagram. The actor has been a popular choice among fans for the beloved Star Wars character for quite some time. It is speculated the character may appear in a future live-action series on Disney+.

With fellow Rebels favorite Sabine Wren being cast and set to appear in the upcoming Ahsoka series, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, many Star Wars fans speculate who may play the young Jedi in his live-action debut, with Massoud being a popular choice among fans. Though the actor has previously addressed the speculation, a recent post on social media has prompted further discussions on whether he is set to wield Ezra's saber on-screen.
