Funko Pop! figures aren't just for superheroes and video game characters. McDonald's has been around long enough and somehow has a big enough cast of characters to have a few Funko Pops of its own. Earlier this year, Funko and the fast food chain revealed four McNugget Pop! figures that would be released in time for Halloween. That promise has been kept and all four of the chicken-based collectibles are now on sale at GameStop.
The four new Pops put chicken nuggets in different Halloween costumes. There's a ghost, a vampire, a witch, and a mummy, and all of them have names. McBoo, McNuggula, Witchie, and Mummy (seriously, not even McMummy?). There's a little bit of history to these characters too beyond them just being a McDonald's menu staple that has been dressed up and turned into toys.

The designs for the Funko Pops are based on a line of iconic Happy Meal toys from the 1990s called the McNugget Buddies. At times when McDonald's didn't have a hit movie to partner up with for its toys like Space Jam, it had the McNugget Buddies ready and waiting to step in. A group of anthropomorphized chicken nuggets that assumed different roles and wore different costumes depending on the theme of that particular period's Happy Meals.
McDonald's and Funko have teamed up to turn the 1990s Happy Meal toys, the McNugget Buddies, into a range of Funko Pop! figures, The McNuggula Pop! turns the menu item into a vampire, complete with a bat on its head and a golden arches medallion around its neck.
The McNugget Buddies didn't only dress up at Halloween. They wore an array of different costumes during the peak of their fame. That might mean, if their Halloween Funko Pop!
