The full trailer for the upcoming Amazon Original film thriller Master from director Mariama Diallo starring Regina Hall, has been released online. Hall is best known for her popular appearances in comedy hits such as Girls Trip, Think Like A Man, and the Scary Movie franchise. Amber Gray, who recently appeared on The Underground Railroad, and Zoe Renee, known for BET's The Quad, also star in the film. Master is produced by Joshua Astrachan, Brad Becker-Parton, and Andrea Roa. Hall also serves as an executive producer on the thriller.
Amazon Prime released the first trailer for Diallo's debut feature as writer and director, which sets up a ghost story with powerful social commentary at its core. The film follows three women at a prestigious New England university who struggle to fit in while something more sinister lurks beneath the surface of the cold elitism of the other students. The trailer teases a tense thriller that explores institutional racism with a supernatural twist that steers the movie into horror territory.
