PUBG Mobile has been updated to version 2.0, bringing a whole host of new content to the portable version of the classic battle royale. What sort of content? Well, we’re about to tell you. Calm your jets.
For one thing, the Livik map in the game has had a massive overhaul. There’s a volcano that might explode, new urban areas, and special random locations that’ll be stuffed full of weapons and gear.
There are new mini games – including soccer – and random crates that you’ll need to track down with special maps. Oh, and a zipline too. Ziplines make everything cooler.
There’s also new season rewards, Royale Pass Month themes and the tier system has been adjusted to add more sub-tiers to the Gold, Bronze and Silver tiers.
On top of that there’s an upcoming special tie-in event with Evangelion that’s going to see the anime’s angels appearing in a special game mode. And that’s before we get to the QoL upgrades. And new stuff in the store. There’s loads, basically.
If you’d like to give PUBG Mobile Version 2.0 a go, you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s free with IAP.
