Sometimes, being bad is good, as a gorgeous new piece of Black Cat fan art shows off the naughtier side of the Marvel Comics antihero. On his Twitter account, artist Marco Failla shared his take on Felicia Hardy's costumed persona, bringing out the best in the character as she swings across the city with Spider-Man in hot pursuit. The piece of art perfectly captures what makes Black Cat a fan-favorite figure in the comics.
Black Cat has long navigated on the edge of being good in bad in the Marvel Universe ever since the character debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 by Marv Wolfman and Keith Pollard. Felicia Hardy quickly became one of Marvel's greatest thieves, however, her actions were more for the thrill of the prize than being a straight-up villain. As such, her relationship with Spider-Man is complicated as Peter Parker knows she's not going to do anything particularly evil, but he still struggles with her criminal activities. But, that hasn't stopped Black Cat from continuing her grand heists, putting her in conflict with the web-slinger.
