The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe outfit coming to Marvel's Avengers is Hawkeye's Ronin attire, but fans are not thrilled about the addition. Crystal Dynamics' multiplayer Marvel title includes a wide range of cosmetics for its cast of characters, including MCU outfits, but many of them must be purchased with real-world money. May 2021 saw the addition of Hawkeye's Endgame MCU skin to Marvel's Avengers, but now a very similar outfit has made an appearance.
At launch, Marvel's Avengers received praise for its roster of unique playable heroes and authentic single-player storyline. However, the title also found criticism due to its technical issues, lack of meaningful endgame content and aggressive microtransactions. While it is possible to earn some cosmetic items through gameplay, many Marvel's Avengers outfits must be purchased from the Marketplace using real currency. This includes the title's coveted Marvel Cinematic Universe suits, which transform Earth's Mightiest Heroes into their iconic live-action incarnations. The decision to lock these highly-requested designs behind a paywall outraged fans, since as of November 2021 all Marvel's Avengers skins would cost thousands if fans wanted to possesses every unique design. Since then, that number has only gone up.
