The newest Marvel's Avengers skin dresses Captain America in a comic-inspired t-shirt, but many fans are disappointed by the outfit. Crystal Dynamics' multiplayer Marvel title features a variety of different outfits for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, though the quality of these cosmetics varies. Recently Marvel's Avengers revealed Uru Iron Man, an armor inspired by the comic event Fear Itself, which received high praise for its faithfulness to the source material.
At launch the Marvel's Avengers cosmetic system received criticism due to its aggressive microtransactions and lack of Marvel Cinematic Universe designs. The lack of MCU attire was soon rectified, with the game adding outfits inspired by a wide variety of live-action installments like Avengers: Endgame, Captain America: Civil War and Black Widow. The pricing of Marvel's Avengers skins has still been criticized, however, with each costing up to $14 and the game providing very few ways to earn outfits outside of purchasing them directly. Back in November 2021 a Marvel's Avengers update introduced Shipments, however, allowing fans to earn premium skins using the in-game Unit currency.

The next premium Shipment skin has been revealed by Marvel's Avengers (viaTwitter), though fans are less than thrilled by the outfit. Many players have requested more comic-inspired suits, similar to Iron Man's new Fear Itself armor, and Captain America's Ultimate Day Off skin is indeed inspired by the Ultimates comic series.
