In Elden Ring, players can find the Ornamental Straight Sword hidden in the Lands Between to acquire a weapon that deals fast attacks of holy damage. This sword can be a powerful choice early in the game as it can be unlocked as soon as players begin their adventure. Both the Ornamental Straight Sword and the Golden Beast Crest Shield are rewards for defeating the tutorial boss, the Grafted Scion.
Players will first face the Grafted Scion during the game's tutorial at the Chapel of Anticipation. The game is designed for players to lose this fight initially, although it is technically possible to win the battle the first time. Luckily, players will get another chance at the tutorial boss in Elden Ring by going through a portal on the Four Belfries, which is found West of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. The fight should be more manageable the second time around as players will have a higher level and better weapons.

At the Four Belfries, players will discover several portals that require an Imbued Sword Key to activate. First, players will find an Imbued Sword Key inside the treasure chest hidden at the top of the hill. Because this key will only allow players to open one of the portals, they should search for the portal adorned with the message «Precipice of Anticipation.» Using the Imbued Sword Key on this portal will transport players to the Chapel of Anticipation, where they will find the Grafted Scion waiting for round two of the boss fight in Elden Ring.
