A new patch is available for NetEase’s Marvel Rivals, focused on fixing crashes and other significant bugs. These include crosshair deviation during highlights and recordings (along with lag), a crash resulting from changing the save location for highlights, and the Season Event screen’s mission progress not displaying.
Maps like Hell’s Heaven and Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface also had edges that caused players to get stuck or pass into “strange areas” due to “special collisions.” While many of these have been fixed, NetEase warns the issue may reoccur in specific spots. It also confirmed that activating Hela or Storm’s Ultimates, causing fog in the Hall of Djalia and Birnin T’Challa to disappear from their perspectives, has been fixed.
Also, an issue on PC for those who used AMD FSR 3 and faced blurry character models due to memory leaks has been resolved. Check out the full patch notes below for more details. NetEase has another patch in the works, this time with some new content in store, so stay tuned for more details.
Marvel Rivals is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s had over 10 million players in its first 72 hours.

On certain maps (particularly Hydra Charteris Base: Hell’s Heaven and Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface), special collisions on the edges would cause the player’s character to become stuck or clip through and enter strange areas. These issues have been largely resolved, but as this affects multiple maps and areas, this bug may be present elsewhere. We will work to continue fixing such issues and develop a solution to thoroughly prevent them.
