Marvel has released a new making-of featurette for the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. The show is set to bring Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury into the spotlight, and comes to the streaming service starting June 21.
Based on a similar event in the comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu, Secret Invasion centers around a conspiracy to replace high-ranking figures in the government and superhero community with shape-shifting Skrulls. Fury joins forces with his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together, they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity. Check out the clip below.

Marvel fans have been eagerly anticipating Secret Invasion since it was announced at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. With the debut less than two months away, more information, including trailers and behind-the-scenes content, is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The series is poised to become a significant event in the MCU this year, especially as Blade has just been put on hold due to the ongoing writers' strikeand the company recently confirming that it will generally slow down and space out Marvel TV shows to help give each more of a chance to shine.
Relatedly, Marvel recently announced that Phase 5's The Marvels has been delayed from July until November.
