Marvel Studios admits a key problem with its Avengers roster for Phase 5. With three of the original Earth's Mightiest Heroes now retired, while the rest are scattered, fans are expecting a revamped lineup for MCU's premier superhero team the next time they go for a mission. While it doesn't seem like a re-assembly is happening anytime soon, there's already a clear problem with the franchise bringing together its next Phase 5 Avengers lineup so that people will be equally invested in them, as they were with the inaugural roster.
Ever since they first assembled in 2012'sThe Avengers, MCU's premier superhero team has been a fan-favorite. Fans have been particularly invested in the original roster with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). As the universe progresses, certain members have already left the franchise, allowing new members of the Avengers to enter the scene. Establishing a new line-up is already tricky, but Marvel Studios may have a bigger problem than just that.
