Although fans are only a few episodes into Married At First Sight season 14, viewers are already discouraged in the relationship experts' choice in husbands. While the women featured in the experimental dating series are routinely criticized by the picky fanbase, the first handful of season 14 episodes has convinced viewers that the franchise's matchmakers have bad taste in men. In the grooms' defense, some of the women cast in season 14 have received their share of judgment as well. Viewers were sure that it was the beginning of the end for the Married At First Sight series after Lindsey's controversial wedding day. In the hours before she exchanged vows with her new husband, Mark, Lindsey downed two bottles of champagne and almost exposed her chest to millions of viewers. Lindsey's over-the-top personality rubbed fans the wrong way and persuaded some to give up on season 14 altogether. Additionally, new wife Alyssa garnered heaps of negative responses from the get-go. Ever since she admitted to buying an extra 10 dresses in case the bridal shop didn't have anything she liked, fans have judged Alyssa.
