Alyssa has been criticized by the Married At First Sight fanbase since before she even made her way to the altar. Alyssa first rubbed viewers the wrong way during her bridal dress shopping excursion in which she demonstrated that she can be high maintenance. Once she laid eyes on her arranged husband, Chris, for the first time, however, fans' perception of Alyssa continued to plummet. Viewers claimed that Alyssa wasn't attracted to Chris, and instead of giving her husband a chance, Alyssa immediately bailed on her marriage. During their honeymoon, Alyssa continued to distance herself from Chris but attempted to maintain a positive public image. Regrettably, Married At First Sight fans don't think Alyssa's a good person.
