Newest 90 Day Fiancé cast member Mahogany Roca has been accused of actually being a TLC intern from California named Willow after her first meeting with Ben Rathbun was shown. 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days episode 10 was when fans Ben and TLC viewers found out that Mahogany is real. 52-year-old Ben had slid into the DMs of 24-year-old Mahogany when she’d befriended him online all thanks to his shirtless photos. After three months of talking, Ben developed an emotional and spiritual connection with Mahogany. Alas, the Mahogany who met him wasn’t the same woman Ben wanted to marry. This “real” Mahogany wasn’t as committed to the relationship as Ben, didn’t return his “I love you,” and looked like a different person when compared to her photoshopped pictures.
Ben, who is a former pastor, has a track record of failed relationships with younger women. On the other hand, he wanted to follow his heart to Peru and thought that making Mahogany his wife is God’s plan. With Ben convinced that Mahogany is the “the one,” his family and friends were highly suspicious given that she used heavy filters on her photos, took a $1,000 loan from Ben, and refused to video call him. With that said, when Mahogany did walk into the San Bartolo restaurant to share empanadas with Ben, she ended up proving all the catfish theories about her were wrong and she was indeed real. And yet, there was something about Mahogany and the way she behaved in the scene with Ben that made many believe she is a producer's plant and/or an actress.
