With Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope fast approaching, Ubisoft has announced that the upcoming tactics game has reached a vital milestone: going gold. For those who don’t know, going gold is when a game reaches the point where it’s ready to be distributed to digital storefronts and printed onto the discs or cartridges that will be available at physical retailers. In other words, the launch version of Sparks of Hope is now more or less complete.
The sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle going gold was announced in a brief Twitter post where Ubisoft expressed its happiness that Sparks of Hope is ready for its debut next month. The company also told fans hungry for new information to keep an eye out for hands-on previews from gaming outlets, which have begun making their way online.

Many of these publications, Game Rant included, recently got the chance to go hands-on with an early build of the game for a few hours. Based on these first impressions, it looks like Sparks of Hope is a big step forward from Kingdom Battle, with the sequel improving on pretty much every aspect of its tactical gameplay.
Sparks of Hope is placing greater emphasis on more dynamic squad compositions this time around, giving players the option to change their team up each round.
