Instead of keeping cash or making payments in cash, people now prefer making online payments. Online transactions have gained pace in India mainly after the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. There are several mobile apps using which you can make online payment by following a few simple steps. Some of these online payment apps are Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, among others. Online banking apps can also be used for this purpose. From making payments, recharges, to making purchases, a lot of services can be availed with the help of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) based apps. Unfortunately, with almost everything going online, digital frauds too have increased. Taking precautions while making online payment is a must to avoid any kind of financial loss. Banks have been constantly informing people about the measures following which they can stay safe from online frauds.
