During the PlayStation 1 era, many innovative games were being created, with some becoming household names for Sony's machine. One of these was a third-person shooter stealth game known as Syphon Filter that was released in 1999 and developed by Eidetic at the time. This game would become acclaimed just like fellow stealth-action trendsetter Metal Gear Solid, with it seeing positive reception and two more sequels in 2000 and 2001 to form a trilogy. Games developed by the developer post-Syphon Filter were Resistance: Retribution and two Uncharted games for the Vita. The latest effort from Studio Bend was the post-apocalyptic open-world experience and PlayStation 4 exclusive Days Gone.
