Led by their demonic cat lord Jetmir, the Cabaretti are a cult dedicated to partying, celebration, and frivolity. While Jetmir does use it to corrupt the politicians and celebrities of the city to his whims, for most, they are incredible events that you'll never want to leave.

The Cabaretti's strategy is to win the hearts and minds of everybody through their ample supply of Halo, and that's represented with their faction mechanic, alliance. Here's how to invite everyone to the party and profit off those alliance triggers.
Unlike the other New Capenna mechanics like casualty, connive, or blitz, alliance isn't a keyword. It's an ability word, which means that, while alliance on its own doesn't do anything, it's a label put on a wide variety of triggered abilities that share the same trigger: whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control.
Ability words are common, but the one closest to alliance is landfall, which triggers whenever a land enters under your control, rather than a creature. In fact, during New Capenna's development, the mechanic was originally known as 'Creaturefall' due to its similarities.
For example, Devilish Valet's alliance trigger doubles its power until the end of the turn whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control. Meanwhile, Social Climber gives you one life.
