The MacBook Air 2022 is one of the most highly Anticipated Apple products this year. Apple’s most affordable laptop hasn’t seen a major design upgrade in years and with rumours suggesting a big overhaul, things could be looking for Mac fans who seek a refreshed MacBook experience without paying exorbitant prices. While Apple is yet to comment anything on that front, a creator has put all the rumoured ideas and concepts to life in a bunch of renders. And safe to say, the MacBook Air 2022 concept looks stunning.
Created and shared by YouTube creator ZoneofTech, the MacBook Air 2022 is shown in a myriad of colours, which are more in line with the current lineup of iMacs and MacBook Pro models. He has shown the new MacBook Air taking in all the colours from the 24-inch iMac lineup and the design cues from 14-inch the MacBook Pro.
Gone are are tapered edges we are used to on this generation of MacBook Air and in its place sits Apple’s familiar flat sided design. The overall form factor hasn’t changed much and it is more of a tasteful paint job in comparison to 2020 MacBook Air. The keyboard has been given white keycaps and so are the narrow display bezels.
Speaking of bezels, it is shown that the MacBook Air could get a similar style of display design as the 14-inch MacBook Pro. The side bezels are narrow, while the top bezels has to rely on a display notch to hold the front camera and mic. There is still some substantial bottom bezel. The rest of the body is covered in the variety of new colours expected from Apple, something that has already been applied to the 24-inch iMac.
