Cook Serve Forever is the latest culinary adventure from developer and publisher Vertigo Gaming Inc.; the title will hit PC via Steam sometime in early 2023. Of all the best cooking games on the market, few receive as much praise as Vertigo Gaming's Cook, Serve, Delicious! franchise. The series began as a hardcore restaurant sim series in 2013, inviting players to take on the challenge of graduating from a lowly café owner to the proprietor of a five-star restaurant.
Several years would pass before Vertigo Gaming finally unleashed a sequel on Steam. Cook, Serve, Delicious 2! hit the digital storefront in September 2017, and quickly garnered widespread acclaim. Much like its predecessor, the 2017 title tasked players with evolving from humble beginning to a world-class chef, its easy to learn but difficult to master gameplay proving a cut above the competition. The late 2020 release of Cook, Serve, Delicious 3! similary hit the mark for fans. Akin to other cooking game developers, though, it seems Vertigo Gaming is eager to broaden its horizons.

As opposed to producing a fourth Cook, Serve, Delicious entry, the crew at Vertigo Gaming entered development on a brand-new IP — Cook Serve Forever. This culinary adventure will come to PC via Steam on an unspecified date in early 2023. In a press release, the studio noted that details about additional platforms should go live at a later date. Protagonist Nori Kaga will star in Cook Serve Forever as a food cart chef in the solarpunk city of Helianthus who aspires to mimic the success of her hero, the "Culinary Queen" Chef Rhubarb.
