CD Projekt Red's FPS RPG didn't get off to the best of starts, with glitches, disappointed fans, and its fair share of review bombing. But over the months and years since its 2020 release, Cyberpunk 2077 has been able to pick itself up, dust itself off, and (eventually) deliver a game that has most fans pretty happy. This has been in part due to the dedication of the development team, which has committed to improving the base game with a variety of patches and updates to make sure that Cyberpunk 2077 delivers on what it promised.
Now, Cyberpunk 2077 has started to turn the heads of players once again, and this time for the right reasons, with rumors surrounding its upcoming DLC. While Cyberpunk 2077's first major expansion has yet to be fully revealed, there is plenty of speculation about what it might bring to the game. New cosmetics and ways to customize the player's character seem like a given, and rumors about some possible online multiplayer have gotten fans excited as well. But it's the hints about a whole bunch of new Gigs that could really help deepen Cyberpunk 2077's role-playing experience.

In the base game, Gigs are optional side quests that players can accumulate during their playthrough. They're provided by fixers or clients, and usually appear when V enters new parts of Night City as a way to explore the areas and earn eddies, experience, and Street Cred. Gigs are useful ways to level V up, but they can also provide some interesting story moments, as well as some unexpected moments of levity. Some Gigs give a few options for how to complete them, further allowing for player choice and letting gamers shape the character of their V to some degree.
