Lulu Wilson is set to reprise her role as the titular character in Becky 2: The Wrath of Becky. The original horror-thriller saw Becky, a rebellious 13-year-old, trying to reconnect with her father Jeff (Community's Joel McHale) at his lakefront home. When a group of Neo-Nazi convicts escape their prison transport and take her family hostage, Becky goes to extreme and violent lengths to fend off the convicts. The Neo-Nazis are led by the ruthless Domenick, played surprisingly by comedian Kevin James, following his buddy Adam Sandler's lead in trying more dramatic roles.
Deadline reports filming on the sequel has just wrapped. Becky 2 follows a similar formula as the first by casting Seann William Scott, known primarily for his comedic roles, as the villain. The film finds Becky, having lived off the grid for two years, returning to society to take down Darryl (Scott) the leader of a fascist organization, on the eve of an organized attack he's orchestrating.

Despite premiering on June 5, 2020, in an early peak of the pandemic, Becky proved to be yet another horror hit for Wilson and topped the box office that weekend. Since the original's Neo-Nazi villains were a clear commentary on current events, it begs the question if the «organized attack» in Becky 2will be another timely takedown. It wouldn't be out of line
