Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood is worried about playing Madonna in Roku's Weird: The Al Yankovic Story movie starring Daniel Radcliffe. For the past few years, the Emmy-nominated actress has garnered critical acclaim for her leading role as prime host Dolores Abernathy on HBO's increasingly cerebral sci-fi series Westworld. At the end of season 3, Dolores sacrifices herself to destroy the super-computer Rehoboam. However, Wood will return in Westworld season 4, premiering June 26, as a mysterious new character, a writer named Christina.
Aside from Westworld, Wood has been branching out with various other roles in recent years. One of the most intriguing performances she has lined is as the pop icon Madonna in the Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Other than Wood, the Roku production stars the Harry Potter actor as the titular satirical singer, Rain Wilson as Dr. Demento, Toby Huss and Julianne Nicholson as Al Yankovic's parents, and James Preston Rogers as Hulk Hogan. The first look at Wood as Madonna revealed she will absolutely look the part in the upcomingWeird Al movie, though the actress remains worried about some aspects of her casting.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Wood opened up about playing the pop icon. She even previewed her early 1980s Madonna voice, which was very "nasally" and "disarming," as Wood describes it. However, her casting wasn't cleared with Madonna beforehand, which the Westworld star is worried may put her on bad terms with the beloved singer. Read what Wood shared below:
