Monique Samuels appears to be blaming the editors for all the backlash she's receiving from Love & Marriage: DC fans over her negative portrayal on the new show. Fans have deemed Monique a villain after watching her behavior over the course of the premiere season. Between constantly fighting with her husband Chris Samuels and seemingly instigating issues between Winter Williams and the rest of the cast, fans were completely turned off by Monique's onscreen antics. But Monique had high hopes for her return to reality television following a dramatic exit from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
The Bravo alum took two years off before signing on to do an all-new show on OWN Network. Monique heavily promoted the new addition to Carlos King's Love & Marriage franchise as the chance for housewives fans to get to know "the real" her. Monique exited RHOP with little to no friends after her physical fight with Candiace Dillard. She continued to take subtle jabs at the franchise on her new show. But if Monique thoughts fans were going to fall more in love with her after appearing on LAMDC, she had another thing coming. Many viewers were put off by Monique's heated confrontations with her husband Chris. Fans defended Chris and accused Monique of belittling him onscreen.
