Bravo fans have missed watching Monique Samuels on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and sadly they won't be seeing her back on TV anytime soon after she turned down a chance to star on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Monique was easily one of the most likable housewives as she was a doting wife and mother. After departing from the franchise, she tried her hand at a few ventures, but none have really taken off.
The young mother was an instant fan-favorite on RHOP and was usually the housewife trying to mend friendships, not destroy them. During season 4, a trip to a local winery took a turn when Monique and Candiace Dillard Bassett found themselves in a heated and physical altercation. Both women were slapped with assault charges, but they were eventually dropped. Monique decided to leave the franchise as the former beauty pageant contestant was continuously triggering her.

With the success of RHUGT, Bravo felt that it was the perfect time to bring Monique back, but the former star had other plans and decided to decline the offer. According to Insider, Andy Cohen himself reached out to Monique, who, without ever watching an episode, decided the show was not the right fit for her. Monique had some strong opinions when telling the outlet her reasons for saying no to the offer, noting that she wanted to steer clear of the «toxicity» and «had no desire to be back on that network.»
