Love Hurts Digital, 4K, Blu-ray, & DVD Release Dates Set for Ke Huy Quan Movie
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for its latest action comedy, starring Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan. This comes after over two weeks since the movie had made its theatrical release.
“The film follows Marvin Gable, a realtor working the Milwaukee suburbs, where ‘For Sale’ signs bloom. Gable receives a crimson envelope from Rose, a former partner-in-crime that he had left for dead. She’s not happy,” reads the official synopsis. “Now, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, filled with double-crosses and open houses turned into deadly warzones. With his brother Knuckles, a volatile crime lord, hunting him, Marvin must confront the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried.”
Love Hurts will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting tomorrow, February 25, 2025. It will then be followed by its 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD releases on April 1, 2025. The digital release will also feature bonus features, including an alternate ending.
The film was directed by veteran stunt and fight coordinator JoJo Eusebio from a screenplay written by Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard, and Luke Passmore. The cast also includes Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider), Mustafa Shakir (Emancipation), Lio Tipton (Lucy), Rhys Darby (Jumanji: The Next Level), Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch (Bottoms) as King and André Eriksen (Violent Night) as Otis. It was produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, with Ben Orman executive producing.
